I’m Matt, the photographer behind The Candid Lens. I like to keep things relaxed so people feel comfortable and their real personalities shine through.

Photography, for me, is about people first. It’s about trust, laughter, and making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera so your true self shines through.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll often find me outdoors with Scouts, involved in community projects, or planning the next adventure - all of which inspire my work and my passion for storytelling through images.
