Community Events

from £30 per hour

I love the buzz of a community coming together — the laughter, the smiles, the little details that make it special. My relaxed, candid approach means your photos will feel natural and full of life, perfect for celebrating the spirit of your event and the people at its heart.

from £50 per hour

Whether for advertising or a special event, business events don’t have to feel stiff or staged. I focus on capturing the real energy in the room — from genuine conversations to those big smiles when connections are made. You’ll get a set of professional, people-centred images that reflect your brand and the personality of your event.

1. Do you travel for events?

Yes! I’m based in Swindon, but I’m happy to travel for community, business, or private events. Travel costs may apply for longer distances.

2. What happens if the weather is bad?

Rain or shine, I’ll find creative ways to capture your event. For outdoor sessions, we can also discuss backup plans.

3. Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?

Of course! Once your gallery is delivered, you’re welcome to share your photos on social media and use them in your marketing materials. I just ask that you credit The Candid Lens when you do - it helps others find me and keeps the connection going.

4. How will I receive my photos?

You’ll get a private online gallery where you can view, share, and download your images. Prints or albums are available on request.

5. How many photos will we receive?

Every event is unique, so the number varies, but you can expect a generous gallery of edited, high-quality images that tell the full story of your day.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! I want your photos to reflect you. If there are particular poses, people, or details you’d love captured, just let me know before the day. I’ll always work those requests into the flow of the shoot while keeping things natural and relaxed, so you can enjoy the moment without feeling staged.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely - I actually prefer it. Whether it’s over a coffee, a video call, or just a good chat on the phone, meeting beforehand gives us a chance to get to know each other and talk through your plans. It helps me understand what matters most to you, and it means on the day you’ll feel more relaxed with me behind the camera (which makes for better photos!).

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

I’ll deliver your final gallery within a few weeks of your event. I also aim to share a small preview shortly after the day so you have something to enjoy while you wait.
